Merrill Lynch Show,
Hunter Breeding Division, she was Grand hunter champion for the
breeding classes! "Grace" , a homebred from GHF, won the 2
year old division and then got champion for the yearling, 1 and 2 year
olds overall, and she won the best young horse award!!

Clavier (1958-86, chestnut, 17h., unraced)
was an AHSA Hunter Champion
(Green Working and Green Conformation) himself, did some field hunting
and show jumping too, and was a noted sire of
hunters. His sire *Sirte was
champion 3yo colt in Italy, and was the sire of 2 steeplechase champions
in the USA. Clavier's dam, Gallant Wind, was a minor winner on the
track
and later was a steeplechaser. Clavier is
linebred to *Teddy, who appears
prominently in the pedigrees of many good hunters, jumpers and eventers.
