Three inspections in one month... a whirlwind trip to Florida...and now at at least one of the Florida Good as Gold kids is travelling up north this weekend! Possibly two. We will know more tomorrow! This is Gannat by Good as Gold. She had the highest movement score that Dr Schacht has given this year, an 8.6! Congratulations to my co-breeder Sandi Lieb on this awesome filly. Photo: It is official, both of the Good as Gold foals Gannat and Goldrush will travel from Florida to the Northeast on their way to their new buyers! We are very excited to have them closer to us, and for their careers with their new owners!

Congratulations to Tim Malin; USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medallist, on the purchase of Gannat by Good as Gold out of Lanner. Tim previously rode "Out of the Ordinary" successfully in Pan Am qualifiers and the massive 18.3h "Harmony's Coolio" to Grand Prix at the Festival Of Champions in Gladstone, NJ. Tim knows the quality needed in a horse to reach the top. Tim is a believer that top riders need to purchase spectacular young stock to invest in our countries competitive future internationally. Tim is stocking his barn with top prospects such as a Rousseau yearling filly out of the Grand Prix mare Clairvoya. He also acquired another yearling filly by the Grand Prix stallion Sancisco out of the full sister to Klaus Balkenhol's Olympic horse Dablino. Tim's purchase of Gannat was the result of this year's international search for yet another super upper level prospect.  In the end Gannat came out on top over offspring reviewed in England, Germany and Switzerland. Besides being simply gorgeous, Tim was really drawn to Gannat's athleticism.  Tim felt Gannat had the expression, impulsion, power and light footed movement needed in a top upper level prospect. Tim has also sends his congratulations to breeders Lauren Efford and Sandi Lieb for producing such outstanding quality right here in the U.S. Gannat is off to Virginia to be raised under the professional guidance of Jennifer Coyle Johnson before going to Tim to begin under saddle training.   

Gannat had the highest movement score of the Pennock Point Oldenburg NA inspection in Florida. She scored an 8.6 which Dr Schacht said was the highest movement score that he had given all year to date!
